AECOM APAC

Provision of senior resource to AECOM APAC Region to assist and in some cases lead a program of major bids and project extensions in the Rail and Metro sectors for the Asia Pacific region, supplying expertise in strategy, technical inputs and resources. This included the CRL pursuit in Auckland, the North West Rail Link in Sydney and the Melbourne Metro Project.  SEM-Logica also provided advice and support on a number of other projects in the region and elsewhere, including advice and identifying specialist resources for the Auckland Electrification Scheme, a Chinese High Speed Rail Project and the Riyadh Metro project. SEM-Logica Consulting continue to collaborate with AECOM as a valued client and are proud of our continuing relationship with the world’s largest consulting engineers.

 

Metro Jeddah

SEM-Logica assisted Metro Jeddah Company in the Architects, Designers and Engineers selection process for this US$6bn project which includes 3 Metro lines, a Commuter system, High Speed Rail interchange and tourist LRT lines around the Red Sea Corinth.

 

With over 180km of lines, around 80 stations, depots, a centralised control centre and the integration of the Bus, Taxi and Water Taxi networks with the rest of the public transport network as well as its interface with the Saudi Land Bridge as the busy Red Sea port end of the line, this unprecedented project will shape the city that hosts millions of pilgrims every year as the gateway to the holy cities for the Haj and Umrah pilgrims in addition to its current population of over 5 million, for the next two hundred years.

 

First Great Western

SEM-Logica are currently providing technical, operational support and scientific services to First Great Western in relation to ongoing work to upgrade and modernise their maintenance facilities on depots across the network. Work provided to date has included advice on standards, environmental, building services, structural, operations and maintenance aspects of the depot equipment and operations and their impacts.
